In the afternoon of December 10, 2010, the 98th Salon of Philosophy of Science and Technology met in Room 353, Xinzhai Building. Professor Liu Xiaoli, director of the Institute of Modern Logic and Philosophy of Science and Technology in the School of Philosophy, People's University, was invited to give a talk entitled "Challenge to Philosophy from Cognitive Science: Extended Cognition and Theory of the Extended Mind." The Salon was chaired by Professor Jiang Jingsong of STS.
